NYIGF Studio Preview: Little Paper Planes

little paper planes
Little Paper Planes debuts Uniforma, their first collection of products designed in-house in partnership with US craftspeople.  LPP is known for offering art prints and ephemera from emerging artists since 2004.  The Uniforma Collection highlights the intersection of art and design by creating elegant functional objects with an emphasis on craftsmanship, collaboration and local manufacturing.

As an artist run business, LPP wants to offer objects they feel a kinship with, things they want to wear and use every day.  These essentials make up a "uniform." Uniforma's first collection is an art pouch, camera strap and wallet for the artist in everyone.

little paper planes
Uniforma is an everyday uniform, they are the things designed to be worn, carried, and used.  Uniforma is curious, stylish, and simple.  They value form paired with function, design as collaboration, and supporting small and local artists.

Ladies & Gentlemen Studio returns to the gift fair with new products and updates of their classics.

Aura Lights (above)

nyth

Nyth Bowls
Each Nyth Fruit Bowl is constructed with random layers of color-stained stoneware.  In a manner that mimics the construction of a bird's nest, the splattered layers of clay create a structural vessel that is randomly patterned, which results in one-of-a-kind surprises in every bowl.

this key holder keeps keys together and protects other items in your pocket or bag from being scratched. individual keys can be folded out for use.

gorm passport holder
keep it all together when you are traveling. our passport wallet holds a passport and ten cards. it also has plenty of room for cash, receipts, and folded boarding passes in the main pocket and a durable tyvek sleeve keeps your cards secure the slim profile keeps a discreet presence in your pocket. the elastic keeps everything secure and also provides a temporary place for holding your tickets when going through security and customs. you can also substitute a small notebook instead of your passport when close to home.  Made in the USA from domestic vegetable tanned leather, imported elastic and hardware.
